† Transformer! You Rock! †

Its hard to get the tickets for the second episode of Transformer even during the third day of movie post-launching. Lucky me that my colleague was able to book the cinema seats via online.



The movie started off with a robot vs robot scene where this ultra big robot ( that I initially thought its gonna be the boss of the whole movie but its just a pawn...) went mad and fury but it was then being defeated by Optimus Prime, the leader of Autobots.


Of course everyone recognize this face: the Megatron of Decepticon who came alive after being defeated by Optimus Prime in the first episode. Megatron again, causing much catastrophic events on Earth, making both the human race and Autobots in a big troubles.


One of the sad scene was that when Optimus Prime got stabbed at the back and was destroyed by one of the Decepticons. I couldn't believe it either but Optimus Prime really did died after that fatal stabbing.


The best part of the movie was the battle between the human soldiers and Autobots against Decepticons while they were trying hard to protect Optimus Prime's corpse. One of my favourite robots of all time, the Constructicon actually appeared in the scene.

† Chitosan Reduces Body Weight? †

Many retail pharmacists say that chitosan is effective in reducing cholesterol as well as promoting weight lost. Is this true or even possible?

Chitosan is a linear polysaccharide composed of randomly distributed β-(1-4)-linked D-glucosamine (deacetylated unit) and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine (acetylated unit). Chitosan is produced commercially via de-acetylation of chitin, which is the structural element found in the exoskeleton of crustaceans such as crabs, shrimp, lobster or any seafood with hard shell you name it. Surprisingly the chitin is found from seafood that cause high cholesterol in human body upon ingestion. Interesting isn't it?

Chitosan is frequently sold in tablet form at health stores as a fat attractor where it supposed to have the capability of attracting fat from the digestive system and expelling it from the body so that users can lose weight without eating less. Perhaps in other words we can call it a fat-magnet?

Chitosan appears to be virtually too good to be true and also there are lack of studies being done upon its effect. A research done in year 2001 showed that there was an insignificant reduction of cholesterol in comparison to other slimming medicines. However, some researches proves chitosan has a potential effect on reducing the body weight of the consumers.

† BALDR Force EXE Revolution †

BALDR Force EXE, aka バルドフォース エグゼ レソリューション in Japanese is a 'not bad' and 'worth watching' anime involving tech, robots, computer networks, vengeance, and love. The first episode caught my attention in year 2007 because its idea was almost similar to that of Matrix Trilogy and Dot Hack. However I wasn't able to download the following episodes due to limited source of download. And right after 2 and a half years, I manage to buy its original DVD set and yay, everything is back into my memory now.


The story’s set in the future, in an age where people can “dive” into the wired world. Some people escape into the wired world to avoid reality. The anime started out with a group of FLAK agents (FLAK: a major military organization run by the United Nations to prevent cyber terrorism) scouting around a digital town looking for a suspicious virus attack of the network. However, they were destroyed in the network by some unknown source of attack. Morpheus from The Matrix used to say:" the body cannot live without the mind". Hell yea this concept is applied here as well. Apparently these FLAK agents died after they were killed in the network.


Mean while, the main character of the story, Tohru Soma appeared. Tohru was a member of "Steppen Wolf", a group of hackers. The group decided to do one more hacking attack by attempting to hack into FLAK. However, they were discovered quickly, which resulted in the death of Yuya, Steppen Wolf's leader and Tohru's friend, as well as their arrest. In order to avoid a long term in prison, Tohru ultimately decided to join FLAK, in order to find out who killed Yuya. While Tohru tries to find the murderer of his friend, he and his new teammates are to defend the wired world from Fei Dao, an extremist group who threatens to disrupt the stability of the wired world. While battling the Fei Dao, more issues and stories were revealed and I guess you should watch it by yourself.

† The Majestic Downfall Of Treant †

I was driving back to my home town last week and the sky was peeing the whole day. It was annoying because I couldn't speed! But thank God that such turtle speed had actually saved my life because a tree just fell down three cars ahead of me. Lucky me...





Thank God the local fire brigades were fast enough. It was settled within an hour time and I was able to continue my journey then. And of course, I was the third car to leave that incident site too ^^
