Heard of clothes being too bright? Mary Huang is able to light up the world of fashion by introducing LED into clothes and scarfs. The cloth used in Mary Huang's design: Rhyme & Reason is a combination of woven cotton jersey and hand-crocheted flowers and about two dozen bright white LEDs embedded in each.
"The scarf is made from machine-knit material. The dress is a combination of woven cotton jersey and hand-crocheted flowers. About two dozen bright white LEDs are embedded in each. Both pieces are interchangeable from battery power to wall power via an adapter."
When not being worn, the pieces double in function as lamps, avoiding the fate of hanging neglected in a closet.
