† The Cartoon Version Of Me!! †

I'm sure many people like to play around with photo editing programmes and so do I. I think photo editing is quite fun especially looking at your photos being transformed into another piece of art.

And so I hereby proudly present, the cartoon version of me. Hohoho... This picture was edited by me using 3 programmes: Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft PowerPoint and Windows Paint. When combine these three programmes, the colors, the tone, the layout, and even the size of the JPEG file were finely tuned. This is my one and only piece of electronic art.

† Adidas Superstar Color Vision †

This pair of Adidas Superstar is known as the 'Color Vision' series. It was made in order to celebrate the company's 60th anniversary of “60 Years of Soles and Stripes”.

As you can see, most of the colorful dots are concentrated at the back part of the shoe and it won't make your shoes look too funky and colorful.

† What A Guy Is Thinking †

I always think a guy's actions are hard to be understood by a girl. It happens everyday when a girl doesn't seemed to understand a guy and they ended up arguing with each other. However girls, this is the fact:
When a guy is quiet while you're talking,
He's paying attention listening to you.

When a guy is not arguing,
Its either he realizes he's wrong or he is unhappy.

When a guy says, "I'm fine," after a few minutes,
He means it because he needs to make sure the answer is correct.

When a guy stares at you,
He thinks you're the most beautiful thing in the world.

When you're laying your head on a guy's chest
He's enjoying the moment.

When a guy calls you everyday
He is in love with you.

When a (good) guy says he loves you
He means it and you can feel it.

When a guy says, "I miss you,"
He misses you more than you could have ever missed him or anything else.

However when a guy says, "I can't feel your love..."
He really mean it and you better do something about it.

† Rubber Calculator †

Rubber calculator sounds interesting to me. This is a creative product designed by Hironao Tsuboi from a Japanese company known as 100%.

It is made of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene also known as ABS resin which is quite fairly heat and chemically resistant and it comes in three different colors: red, black and gray.

† Kuantan Hospital PRP's Moment Of Glory †

Another year passes-by and this batch of Kuantan hospital's Pre-Registered Pharmacists (PRP) are going to graduate soon. Most of them are worried about their coming posting because Pahang's full of many 'dangerous' and 'yet-to-be-discovered' areas awaiting for them.

I was invited to attend their farewell dinner and we really had a great night in the restaurant called Santai in Tanjung Lumpur. As you can see our William Tong (left bottom) with his trademark eye-catching surfing pajamas short pant.

This is our Mr. Lai showing off his best PRP award certificate. No wonder he looks so happy. (Sorry HP I revealed your secret)

The happy faces of PRPs. Glad that they enjoyed their time here in HTAA. Well, all the best in becoming a good pharmacist in future! I'm sure we will see each other again in future since we're all in the same field.

† JKNP Annual Dinner 2009 Finale †

Its been 5 years since my last stage performance. Kinda nervous but I was surprisingly calm as well. My colleagues did a great job in doing their singing in the songs 'Kau Ilhamku' and 'Heal the World' especially Zhi Yong with his 'on-the-spot-full-of-feel' singing skill.

A photo session the bosses: Pn Rozita U48 of Hospital Kuantan's clinical pharmacy department, as well as Ms Wee, the head of pharmacist of the whole Pahang. I'm glad to hear from her telling me that she loves the songs performed especially MJ's Heal The World.

Photo sessions after every memorable sessions became a 'must-to-do' event for kids nowadays.

I guess silly poses are something common to do during a photo sessions right?

And here we have the 'Fatt Tat' duo (Soong Fatt & Eng Tat) who come all the way from Hospital Raub and Klinik Kesihatan Lanchang respectively. Both of them really look like someone high ranking such as 'Datuk' or 'Yang Berbahagia'.

The guys taking picture with Datuk ah Fatt and Yang Berbahagia ah Tat. A message to Song Fatt and Eng Tat: Good to see both of you here in Kuantan!

And this is one of my favorite photos, me surrounded by pretty girls! Kekeke XD

† JKNP Annual Dinner 2009 Prelude †

The JKNP annual dinner (sponsored by PEKAKES) was held yesterday night and I was one of the performers representing the pharmacy department of Pahang. I arrived at the dinner hall an hour before it started and the hall was totally empty. I guess this is what you meant by the 'Malaysian's Timing'. While waiting for the floor to arrive, me and my team members were discussing and recapping the lyrics of songs that we're going to perform (Mambai's Kau Ilhamku & Michael Jackson's Heal the World).

Introduction of My Team Members

Here we have Pek Leng (left) and Chee Meng (right). Pek Leng is going to be a Full-Registered Pharmacist (FRP) very soon after her one year compulsory practice while Chee Meng is the boss of Hospital Kuantan's ward supply department who controls the input and output of medicines running in the ward.

Mr and mrs Lee... Ooops, I mean Zhi Yong (left) and Pui Yee (right) come in a package of two in my music team. Zhi Yong is currently the pharmacist in-charge of Hospital Pekan's main drug store and Pui Yee is going to complete her practice and soon to be a FRP.

Here we have Christine and me doing the classical 'two' hand signs. Christine is currently the big boss of Hospital Pekan controlling the pharmacy department, mainly in the clinical area. And of course me myself, a.k.a. Keat. I guess everyone knows who I am and I shall skip the round of introducing myself again.

It wasn't easy to handle this task alone and I still remember how stressed I was when the task of doing the performance was placed upon my shoulder. But thanks to all my colleagues who helped me out by volunteering themselves in doing this performance with me. Thank you my dear colleagues and you guys/girls rocks!

† Creative Advertisement... What The? †

Well, this furniture shop located at the road side of Jalan Teluk Sisek, Kuantan is really cute. The way the boss writes his advertisement is so attractive. Its neither his nice design of the advertisement nor good handwriting but his way of attracting people by using his very own Manlayu (Mandarin + Bahasa Melayu).

The way he writes the advertisement is quite funny and let me tell you, it works somehow. I've seen many customers grabbing and buying their furniture from that shop.

It works for me too. I've ended up buying this little 'bean-stuffed sofa' and it only cost me RM90. And now I can watch my anime comfortably.

† 1st National Scientific Meeting of Renal Phamacy †

Just came back from the 1st National Scientific Meeting of Renal Pharmacy held in Holiday Villa Subang Jaya. Its a topic a little bit out of my job scope but who cares? Although I'm a chemo-pharmacist, but I guess this is a good opportunity for me to learn more about our kidney. Its a costly scientific meeting that I have to pay RM400 with my own pocket money first but thank God I can claim that later on.

I'm sitting at the very last row and I can see everyone's maximizing their concentration listening to the talk.

Sometimes I can't help looking at the ceiling not because I'm bored with the talk but because of its design.

The ceiling somehow reminds me of a few castle that I've seen in Paris during my 2007 Europe tour.

What has made me happy the most was that I've managed to meet up with my friends who works in Seremban hospital (Philip - left) and Besut hospital (Chee Yang - right).
