† Don't Drink & Drive: How To Deliver The Message †

It doesn't matter whether you're an acute or a chronic drinker, alcoholism will affect the health of the consumers without fail. Being drunk is one of the immediate effects of drinking alcohol and is one of the top killers that causes motor-vehicle accidents. So how are the alcohol companies going to deliver the message of 'please drink responsibly'?

This is definitely a smart way of delivering the message by printing a graphic on the bottle cap of the alcohol drinks. When the bottle is opened, the graphic of the car appears to be distorted and it kinda remind the drinkers that car accident may happen if they drink and drive.

† Stereotype Packaging †

Unhealthy diet among human beings is one of the leading causes to human diseases. Perhaps design can help to change the idea of "healthy food = lousy food" among the people? Thanks to Daizi Zheng's concept in designing the stereotype packaging in order to promote healthy food.

Something that look familiar? According to WHO, 29% of the human population are smokers. If a healthy food is to be projected via the package of cigarette pack, I guess its going to be a good sell.

I'm not sure how many Earthlings love fast food, but I can assure you that I'm one of the kind that love it to the max. Maybe I'll grow to love vegetable fibers if they come in such lovely package.

† Love Olive By Belfast's Sort Design †

Olive is the fruit of the tree called olea europaea. Olives are generally a healthy food especially the oil extracted from its body. According to WHFoods, olives contain high amount of vitamin E, monosaturated fats, iron and dietary fibers.

Love Olive is a brand for Ireland's biggest olive wholesaler, supplying olives through their retail outlets. The lovely branding logo of Love Olive is designed SORT, a Belfast based graphic and branding studio founded in 2006.

Even the herbal packaging looks attractive with its earthly colors and textures.

Love Olive shops can be found in many regions of Ireland including Belfast and Dublin.

† Great Sleeping Bear By Eiko Ishizawa †

This is something similar to the Bloody Pillow in my previous post, known as the Great Sleeping Bear.

Eiko Ishizawa design this sleeping bag based on the true story of a bear in Alps who was powerful that after a long period of hunting, it was finally hunted down the hunters.

If you think you can keep other people away from you by using this scary sleeping bag, I think you're wrong because you might ended up becoming the center of attraction at the camping site.

† Intimacy Candy: Firma's 18+ Lollipop †

This is a concept by Firma, a Moscowbased creative firm operated under the conceptual influence of China. There alot of creative products being designed under the firm and one of the product that catches my attention is the Intimacy 18+ candy.

The 18+ Lollipop is specially made with the intimacy concept for adult boys and girls. With the new funky, audacious and intimate design, the three newly design 18+ lollipops are given sensual names such as BDSM, Fetish and Toys. These designs truly represent the shape of each corresponding lollipop.

So this lollipop is given the name "BDSM". In case you don't know, BDSM means Bondage & Discipline, Dominance & Submission, Sadism & Masochism.

This lollipop is known "Toys" and it represents sex toys of the adult world.

And finally, "Fetish", which mean an object worshipped for its supposed magical power but it also means a form of sexual desire in which saticfaction is focused adnormally on an object, or part of the body.

† Jme's Simple Yet Attractive Packaging †

I find simple and pleasant packaging design often attracts people's attention. Here's something interesting I've come across from Jme, a brand inspired by Jamie Oliver.

The Jme products' packaging are interesting in the sense that everything just look so relaxing and natural. 'Organic' might be a good word to describe its look but definitely not its ingredient because I don't know whether they're selling organic products or not.

As you can see, each product of Jme has its own feel and look, enabling the users to differentiate each of the product's function. I guess such packaging design may help the users in their cooking performance?

† Interesting Bottle Holder †

This little interesting gadget is actually a bottle holder it is called the 'bottle clip'. Bottle clip is designed by Mattias Ries in aiming to solve bikers' main problem in bringing their water bottle while cycling.

The Bottle Clip is also designed to be a cheap bottle holder that snaps onto your bike, and it features a standard sized bottle cap so you can attach the majority of water bottles on to it.

The only drawback about this clip is that we've no idea how heavy a bottle that the clip can hold. I can't imagine if a 1.5 liter bottle is to be attached on it.

† Rubber Calculator †

Rubber calculator sounds interesting to me. This is a creative product designed by Hironao Tsuboi from a Japanese company known as 100%.

It is made of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene also known as ABS resin which is quite fairly heat and chemically resistant and it comes in three different colors: red, black and gray.

† Toy For Cats †

Yeah, I think I'm going to buy this interesting stuff for my cats in future.

The rounded base is gently curved and produces a slight rocking motion whenever kitty wants to sharpen its claws and engage in some playtime activity. Such rocky surface can also be kitty's perfect spot to scratch its body or lean against.
