† Adidas Super Bape Star †
Adidas Super Bape Star, is a combination of Adidas Superstar and NIGO's Bathing Ape (Bape). This pair of shoe simply catches my attention not only because of its design, also its brand(s). I've been an Adidas Superstar lover for years and my last pair of Adicolor Superstar shoe really has made me happy for years.
As usual, Bape's shoes design always have a camouflage pattern and this color and pattern really looks good on Adidas Superstar. What really catch my attention is Bape's "monkey" logo has an Adidas trademark three stripes printed across it.
This pair of shoe may look nice but the price is rather scary for me to even think of buying half a pair of it. Well then, the price is rather varies among the sellers so why not you go find out yourself?

† Chinese Valentine's Day †
The Chinese Valentine's Day is on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month in the Chinese calendar. It is said that if you raise your head in evening on this day and gaze at the stars, you will find something romantic going on in the sky. That is, on this evening, Niu Lang and Zhi Nu will meet on a bridge of magpies across the Milky Way. Chinese grannies will remind children that they would not be able to see any magpies on that evening because all the magpies have left to form a bridge in the heavens with their wings.
† Dearly Beloved From Kingdom Hearts †
'Dearly Beloved' is a lovely soundtrack taken from the popular PlayStation 2 role playing game 'Kingdom Hearts'. The song started with a series of simple tuned piano melody playing repeatedly and somehow when I listened to it, for its beauty, innocence and pure emotion, this song always reflect all the joyful memory throughout my whole life.
The instrumental music 'Dearly Beloved' is composed and written by Yoko Shimomura and apparently there are two versions that she produced. The first version was used in the title page of Kingdom Hearts game as well as a few parts of the game. This version is the version that makes me and my brother got so hooked on Kingdom Hearts game. The second version is my very favourite of all time and I don't even know this version existed. It is composed in the orchestral version, playing along with the strings, woodwinds and trombones.
In case there are people who don't know what Kingdom Hearts is: Kingdom Hearts is popular RPG game developed by Square Enix (previously known as Square Soft). What makes it special is that it is a collaboration between Square Enix and Disney. Therefore you can find many characters from both Square Enix and Disney such as Cloud Strife and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII, as well as Mickey and Donald from Disney.
Kingdom Hearts is truly a great game to play. Although I didn't allow myself to touch this game initially (because I knew I'm definitely gonna get addicted to it if I do), however simply watching my little brother playing on it everyday somehow made me hooked to it indirectly. Maybe instead of me telling the whole story, why not spend some time reading the storyline here?

† Akihabara's Capsule Inn †
Ever heard of the capsule inn of Akihabara, Japan? This is a unique style of accommodation in Japan designed in order to overcome the overcrowded situation of Japan especially in certain well-known places.
As you can see from the picture, big cities in Japan are always crowded with people and I'm sure accommodation is going to be a big problem in such megalopolis. The cases of business men who work too hard and miss their train are something common that happen in Japan and therefore finding a place to overnight is always important.
I think the concept of capsule inn is inspired by the architecture of a bee hive. Such layered and compacted arrangement of the capsule inn rooms will ultimately improve the problem of overcrowded in Japan.
According to the homepage of Capsule Inn, the typical a typical capsule inn is composed of two major sections; a public lounge space including bathing, and the other is a private space where the sleeping rooms (capsules) are arranged. The actual sleeping room is a capsule unit made of reinforced plastic and designed in the image of a jet airplane's cockpit.
In the capsule unit, all the basic amenities are also provided such TV, radio, alarm clock, adjustable lighting, curtains as well as table. Regular hotel in Japan may cost 8000 to 12000 yen per night however a capsule inn only cost 4000 yen per night. Personally I think it is worth spending a night in such unique accommodation at least once when we visit Japan.

† Yama Onna Kabe Onna: Simply Enjoyable †
Yama Onna Kabe Onna (山おんな壁おんな) is a Japanese comedy series that makes me laugh no matter how many times I've watched. The word yamma means mountain (山) while the word kabe means wall (壁).
The series features Megumi Aoyagi, a career woman who is popular at her workplace due to her superb performance in selling handbags.
Other than her outstanding ability in promoting handbags, Aoyagi is also a career minded woman who is able to make strong decisions, bringing numerous chances of revival for her department. There are many times that her department is facing critical moments but things often turns out positive thanks to her help.
Aoyagi may seem strong and elegant outside but deep inside her heart, she carries an inferior complex with regard to her flattened chest and that is how she obtains the nickname "wall woman" (kabe onna) eversince the appearance of Marie Mariya the "mountain woman" with big breast in her department.
On top of Mariya's well proportioned body figure, Mariya is also gifted in promoting handbags to the customers without much efforts. Aoyagi finds her position and status in the department has turned out to be unstable.
However, Aoyagi and Mariya's friendship has been built up through numerous obstacles and difficulties as they work side by side in the same bag department.
Personally I think this series is worth watching. To be honest, I wasn't that interested with this series when my friend Alvin first introduced me to it a year ago. However, after 15 minutes of watching, this comedy turned out to be hilarious. Therefore I would say this series is simply enjoyable and unique!

† District 9 †
District 9 has been shown in the cinema for days and I finally had the chance to watch it. The synopsis that I've read told me that its a movie about how the aliens had landed on Earth 20 years ago. However these aliens were somehow infected by some kind of virus, causing them to lose their ability to think straight and acted like low inteligence creature.
Human race had shown their mercy by helping these aliens to settle on Earth, setting a sealed-up area known as District 9 to contain the aliens. At the same time providing these aliens food and accomodation.
So does this mean that the humans are good? Bullshit! I think this is a movie about how ugly human race can be. Personally I think this movie is trying to tell us how the human race can be stupid, selfish, as well as barbaric. There some parts of the movie showing how the humans have tried all kinds of experiments killing and examine the aliens in order to gain access to the alien advanced technology.
This scene is the saddest scene to me as the organization is trying to do all kinds of experiments on the main character of the movie, Wikus. Further more, in order to reduce side effect, no anesthetic effect has been used on Wikus while doing operation. I'm really feel sad for what he has gone through.
I think overall of the movie was considered not bad although there were a few parts that was quite disturbing especially when Wikus was going through a metamorphic process, changing from human into alien.

† Laskar Pelangi By Nidji †
I'm listening to the song 'Laskar Pelangi' sang by Nidjil recently. Its truly a great inspirational song with a good melody as well as arrangement. Just for an introduction, the word 'nidji' comes from the Japanese word 'niji' which means rainbow. The band Nidji originated from Jakarta, Indonesia and the band consists of 6 members.
The first time I came across this song was through the radio in the hospital I'm working in and the very first thing that caught my attention was the song's guitar intro. I'm not pretty sure the instrument used was a guitar, mandolin or a banjo. But anyway, this song is performed in key of G#. As I go on with my further research about this song, I realize this song was the OST of a movie show, also named Laskar Pelangi.
The show Laskar Pelangi was actually taken from a popular novel written by Andrea Hirata. Its about two teachers who sacrifice their time in order to educate the poor children in Indonesia. Thinking of their responsibility as an educator, they're willing to move on and provide everything they can to the children although they've faced all kind of problems.
Here's the video clip I've obtained from YouTube. Perhaps it gives a clearer picture how the movie goes.

† X-Men Evolution †
Just finished watching X-Men Evolution. I would say its a 'not bad' and 'worth watching' cartoon series. X-Men Evolution won twice of the Emmy Award in US. It is the teenage version of X-Men Classic where in the series, most of their mutant powers were developed during their school time and I guess this is the reason this cartoon series became so popular because everything is so 'teen' and their mutant powers were 'tuned down' so that its not as harsh as the previous X-Men Classic.

† When Is HumanPets Coming Back? †
Its been quite a while that I didn't login my HumanPets account. Sad to see that HumanPets has become so quiet these days and I think currently it has been taken over by Friends For Sale in FaceBook. HumanPets was one of the top FaceBook applications but everything changed eversince it has been removed from FaceBook due to some policy and politic matters.
Oh well, looking back at my profile, it is still the same. The profile pictures, the background, my owner and my pets, they're still there.
My story tales! I've posted a few tales and its something like 'what you think?' section where you can gain points from the readers who like your tales. These points are important for you to buy pets or even buy items.
My shop items were once removed from HumanPets due to maintanence problem of the website but they're now restored back into my shop. As you can see most of my items are consisted of animes.
Chatting with other users were fun back then because there were many users whose addicted so badly to HumanPets and I used to receive 30 to 40 messages per day.
Unlike Friends For Sale, you can view who actually visited your page. Well well well, I guess everything that rise will be ended up with a fall. HumanPets was once an addictive application to many FaceBook users but apparently the trend has been shifted to other applications.

† Santorini By Yanni †
Yanni, the popular Greek composer of New Age instrumental music has always been my favourite instrumental music artist since I was 12 years old. One of his songs that never grows old and has always been magnificent to me is "Santorini", especially the live version from the album "Live At The Acropolis".
The song "Santorini" was first heard by me in year 1996 and I can clearly remember the whole song because of its nicely arranged majestic intro incorporating the violins, trumpets, horns and timpani. To understand the song in detail, here's the video clip I've obtained from YouTube.
After the nice intro, the whole song suddenly turns gentle and soothing when it comes to Yanni's turn to play the piano (2:04 of the YouTube video). Its always my most favourite part of the whole song especially at 2:24, the bass guitar goes in the order of C, B, A, E, F, G, C along with the orchestra at that specific segment.
This song just never grow old and no matter how many times I've listened to it, I've never felt bored about it.
