† Granado Espada: Revolution of Online Game †

Granado Espada, is a Korean online game launched in year 2006. It is so popular among many countries and in fact most of the players in the S.E.Asia server are from Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Vietnam.

Notably, Granado Espada won the 2006 Korean awards for Best Graphics and Game of the Year. The graphic is pretty amazing for a game that is being launched so many years ago.

Its concept and design of the game can be said to be unseen in all the previous online game, such as the ability for players to control multiple characters at the same time, also known as multiple control. Each of the character will have different skills and moves that won't make the players feel dull.

Granado Espada features a unique art style based on the Baroque period of Europe, differing from the standard sword and sorcery fantasy themes or ching chong Chinese kung fu fighting theme of the genre. Even the music of the entire game is attractive enough for you to download.

The world of Granado Espada takes place on a newly discovered continent based on the setting of Americas during the Age of Exploration. Its world is divided into different maps and grouped into themed regions such as forests, tropical jungles, plains, swamps, deserts and ice fields.

The first English version of the game began Open Beta Testing in year 2007. The game was originally released under a pay-to-play model but due to high cost maintenance, many players draw out from the game. Granado Espada is then launched as a free online game and that is why this game is currently surviving for years without a problem.

Talks about 'free', of course not everything is free. If you're playing the game without paying any money, you'll ended up stuck with some normal looking character or else you'll get something really nice just like the pretty girl with a black wing standing beside my character.

† Facebook Castle Age †

This is the best Facebook game I've ever played. I'm not really a Facebook games fan but my friend Dr Cheah introduced me to this game: Castle Age, and guess what? I'm totally hooked onto this game for now.

The first thing about this game that caught my eye sight was its art work. The producers of Castle Age really spent their time in developing the game.

Just like any other Facebook RPG games, you will need to gain your experiences and golds via accomplishing the quests given. However, different quests may require different heroes. So whats the 'heroes' about?

The difference about this game is that, players can get to choose their heroes and each of these heroes will have different properties in benefiting your team. For example, some heroes will increase the team's defense while some heroes can increase the hourly income.

As for the items, the artworks are really awesome and it makes them look so attractive.

The best thing about Castle Age is that, players tend to face a number of seriously hard-to-defeat bosses. In order to accomplish the mission, some times the players have to shout for help and this is the time where the friends from all over the Facebook will come and help.

Castle Age is really fun and I think the producers of this game did a good job. To try out the game, click here.

† Sweet Intro Found In Grandia III PS2 Game †

I've always love to play RPG games and of course RPG such as Square Enix's Final Fantasy series and Kingdom Heart series were my all time favourites. Grandia III wasn't really an outstanding and impressive PS2 game however its intro together with the soundtracks were really good that I can't help myself looking at the intro again and again.

The intro of Grandia III started interestingly with a young boy (whose name is Schmidt) built his own manually operated airplane in order to reach the sky but eventually he failed. Without giving up his hope and ambition, he continued his journey in order to become a world class pilot and he did it. All the glorious moments of grown up Schimidt were all seen by young Yuki through the video tapes and Yuki aimed to become a great pilot like Schmidt. So here's the intro video clip thats been uploaded in YouTube.

The songs of Grandia III are mostly said to be very ear soothing. Most important of all, I think Noriyuki Iwarade did a good job in composing the theme of Grandia III. Similar to Yoko Shimomura, Noriyuki Iwarade is one of the popular music composer for tons of games. His style of music is slightly different from that of Yoko where Yoko's music tends to sound new age and mystical where as Noriyuki's music is more catchie and happy.

Apparently there are two versions of the theme song. This is the one that is heard from the intro video clip and its title is Legendary Pilot King. As for the second version, which is also the completed album version is called Theme of Grandia III.

† DotA Life Of Mine †

My working life has been busy and I don't even have much time for my favourite game: Warcraft's DotA. However thanks to my brother Su Yuen who installed Warcraft along with Garena in my computer and I get the chance to play in my house without going to the cyber cafe. So what is Garena? Garena is a programe created for multiplayer games such as DotA so that players around the world can meet in the channels and play with each other.

This is my lucky day with the nickname of mine "kyokidkeat" in DotA Garena. For instance, my little Panderan Brewmaster got a mega kill along with a double kill by killing 2 heroes at once.

Another match of me using Omniknight was really a tough game where 3 of us fighting against 5 opponent players because 2 of our team players left the game. And surprisingly, we won the game *faint*

In this game, my Pit Lord was really on fire while casting 'rain of fire'. Fat, bulky but fast and strong is what they call my Pit Lord *laughs*.

Its kinda unusual for me to use Lone Druid but apparently my Lone Druid was doing well. Along with my Lone Druid, I have my little pet bear fighting side by side with me. And of course, we owned the game.

Things didn't go smooth all the way after all. During my last match teaming up with Niic, we lost badly that we have to run to an unknown area to hide ourself after all our team mates had quited the game.

† Dearly Beloved From Kingdom Hearts †

'Dearly Beloved' is a lovely soundtrack taken from the popular PlayStation 2 role playing game 'Kingdom Hearts'. The song started with a series of simple tuned piano melody playing repeatedly and somehow when I listened to it, for its beauty, innocence and pure emotion, this song always reflect all the joyful memory throughout my whole life.

The instrumental music 'Dearly Beloved' is composed and written by Yoko Shimomura and apparently there are two versions that she produced. The first version was used in the title page of Kingdom Hearts game as well as a few parts of the game. This version is the version that makes me and my brother got so hooked on Kingdom Hearts game. The second version is my very favourite of all time and I don't even know this version existed. It is composed in the orchestral version, playing along with the strings, woodwinds and trombones.

In case there are people who don't know what Kingdom Hearts is: Kingdom Hearts is popular RPG game developed by Square Enix (previously known as Square Soft). What makes it special is that it is a collaboration between Square Enix and Disney. Therefore you can find many characters from both Square Enix and Disney such as Cloud Strife and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII, as well as Mickey and Donald from Disney.

Kingdom Hearts is truly a great game to play. Although I didn't allow myself to touch this game initially (because I knew I'm definitely gonna get addicted to it if I do), however simply watching my little brother playing on it everyday somehow made me hooked to it indirectly. Maybe instead of me telling the whole story, why not spend some time reading the storyline here?

† O2Jam Private Server †

I realize many people can't join the O2Jam server I've introduced in my previous post. So I'll have to figure things out to solve this problem. Instead of solving the problem, I manage to find O2Angel as I go around reading forum randomly from the internet.

This is a private server of O2Jam and its primary language used is mandarin. But personally I don't think its much of a problem because I've seen many Philippine users who do not understand mandarin playing in this server.

Steps to download, install and register:
First of all, download the client (size of 137MB). Once download completed, install it first but do not launch the client yet. You'll have to register prior to playing the game. Once register completed, you can start the game immediately!

† O2Jam Is Back †

What a joy, I've finally manage to play O2Jam again!
So here's the link where you can download it and play: click here to download. I was listening to my iPod and the song "Bride In Dreams" appeared randomly in one of my songs. It makes me miss playing O2Jam so much that I've decided to go find out why the hell O2Jam has been shut down in Malaysia. Along my web surf and search, I found no answer to my question but lucky me, I came through a forum (I can't recall what is the address of the forum) where many O2Jammers made their complains about the disappearance of O2Jam. One of the replier introduced them this website and finally my dream of playing O2Jam has come true! O2Jam... Here I come again!

Its pretty easy to sign up, just install it and click on 'register' and it will link you to a website where you have to fill in your user ID and nick name. After you've settled everything by filling in all the blanks, you're free to play then.

NOTE: I realize many users weren't able to join the server. From my point of view, I think its because of the IP address. I've uploaded a new post of O2Jam Malaysian Server. Feel free to take a look.

ஐ Granado Espada: Online Game ஐ

Recently I'm kind of addicted to this online game and its simply just way too juicier than any other games that I've ever played. Granado Espada distinguishes itself from many online games with the concept of Multiple Character Control where users are allowed to control up to 3 characters in the game. In the game, 5 different classes of characters are available: Fighter, Musketeer, Wizard, Scout and Elementalist.

ஐ FIGHTER ஐ

Serve as the front line of a team as they are able to take an excessive amount of damage. Also, the Fighters have the most stances (skills) of any class and can use the widest array of weapons.

ஐ MUSKETEER ஐ

Musketeers are a powerful ranged class able to deal extensive damage to grounded or flying enemies. Musketeers have the most powerful single attack in the game, but can be expensive to support as they need a large supply of bullets for long quests.

ஐ WIZZARD ஐ

A balanced magic-using class with a wide array of skills, including teleportation magic and levitation magic as well as offensive magic, with area of effect (AOE) attacks at higher levels.

ஐ ELEMENTALIST ஐ

Elementalists are purely offensive magic users. The Elementalist pulls their magic from powerful Bracelets of Fire, Ice and Lightning. At higher levels, the Elementalist can use two Bracelets at once, synergizing multiple elements for extremely powerful attacks.

ஐ SCOUT ஐ

The one and only healer class that can buff and heal teh team members. Their stances such as First Aid, Fortitudo, Tactical Assistance and Install Trap are assistance stances. Their offensive stances, Escrima and Dobalada Corte, use daggers which are somewhat ineffective against large or heavy armored enemies.
