† My Long Lost Drumsticks †

Looking back at my drumsticks, these drumsticks really mean something to me. I was too busy with my work that I've left my music world for years.

Drums has been the main instrument in my life. I started off with piano at the age of 5, and switched to guitar and bass at the age of 12, then finally switched to drums at the age of 13, all the way until 21 years old.

Of course this is not the end of my music life. Expressing myself via music is a talent or I should say gift from God and I'm not going to waste it.

† Asus Bamboo Laptop †

This laptop looks so wooden and the color is truly attractive. Its kinda bored keep looking at laptops with typical metallic design.

Perhaps such wooden design can change your usual appetite towards a laptop.

† Great Views Of Highland †

Its about Scotland again! Its been raining non-stop here in Kuantan and it somehow reminds me of the weather of Scottish highland. The photos that I'm going to show below are photos taken from different parts of highland during my highland tour, including Inverness, Oban, Isle of Skye, Shetland, Sterling, and many more.

Well, whats so special about the highland? Generally, the highland region is a 'really Scottish' place where you can see many great things such as great glens and mountains, beautiful rivers and lochs (lake), enchanted gardens and forests, as well as old buildings made of rocks.

RIVER

There are many rivers to be seen in the highland especially in the forests. These rivers have one thing in common: rocks are everywhere. It can be quite slippery and dangerous if you wanna take a photo at the river side.

EILEAN DONAN CASTLE

If you watch the show 'Water Horse', you won't miss this beautiful castle. I've taken many photos of this castle during the tour and I find this is the best among all. Too bad I didn't enter the castle because we have to pay a few pounds for the entrance fee.

FAIRIE GLEN & FLOWERS

Fairie Glen is one of the best spot to take photos. Most of the trees in the area are small in size and the legend says that there are fairies lingering around in the glen.

ENCHANTED FOREST

There are many forests along the road in the highland. I have no idea what is the name of this forest but if my memory still serves me well, I think this forest is somewhere near Isles of Skye.

GLEN

It was summer when I took this picture but still, there were snows on the tip of the mountain. It gives the idea how cold the weather of Scotland can be.

ABANDONED CASTLE

This picture was taken on top of a the hill of Oban. As you can see the castle has been abandoned for quite sometime.

LOCH NESS

What a wonderful view of Loch Ness where me and Mel were watching the magnificent view of sunset. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to see the Loch Ness Monster as what I've heard from the legend.

† A Cup Of Book †

Cupbook is something interesting I've found from this Japanese website. It looks cute and I think by having the shape of a cup plus a tea bag kind of bookmark is really something cool.

It is a leather book cover, similar to all the other leather book covers on the market.

As I mentioned earlier, the little tea-bag shaped bookmark really makes it looks more like a cup.

Normal book covers doesn't come with a handle, this one does simply because it is shaped like a cup.

It seems that 4 colours are available. They are just lovely aren't they?

† Yes Man †

Kinda bored yesterday after working on-call in the hospital. Thank God Christine and Dr. Tan came to Kuantan and so we've decided to watch Jim Carrey's Yes Man.

This is not a post about movie review so I will skip that and jump to the main point of my blog post. The funniest part of the show is when Jim Carrey trying to stop someone from jumping down from the building. Instead of negotiating with that guy, Jim picked up a guitar and sang Third Eye Blind's 'Jumper'. The whole congregation in the cinema burst out laughing when Jim started singing the verse "I wish you would step back from that ledge my friend..."

Here's the video clip I manage to find from YouTube. It seems that most people in YouTube would notice only this part of the movie. Well, I really enjoy watching the show although its not a super duper highly ranked movie, and it does help me to release my tension especially during this time of my on-call week.

† Gackt: True J-Rocker †

I never was a fan of Gackt until I listened to this particular song of his: Returner. This song has a really good intro especially when the traditional flute blended together with the heavy metal background, it some how attracts me to continue listen to this song.

This is the one of the live concert of Gackt's Returner. This concert really gave me a big shock as I see Gackt and the whole band crews dressed up in the form of samurai, playing their gothicly-decorated instruments. What an amazing view when I see the audience (soldiers) shouted and responded to Gackt's song. Its like Gackt was the captain of the troops and he was giving his battle cry to the soldiers.

Looking at the lyrics presented in the video clip, I feel that the lyrics are rather painful and depressing. Its like about the feeling of a woman waiting upon return of her samurai husband but it seems that her husband didn't turned out.

Well, this particular song of Gackt is a must to listen, at least this is what I'm thinking. It might not suit your taste but there's no harm listen to it right?

† Chocolate Pencils †

Believe it or not, these pencils are actually edible as they are made of real chocolates!

The chocolate-pencils are created by Tsujiguchi Hironobu of Nendo (product design firm). Each pencil is made of different type or I would say different 'species' of chocolates, from mild to bitter.

I think I'm gonna enjoy bitting the chocolate from the head till the tip. Its gonna be freaking delicious especially when it has a shape of a pencil.

Amazingly the kit even comes with a 'pencil sharpener' that can be used to shave and to decorate desserts with. Its cool isn't it?

† Swtich: Table & Chair †

This is something interesting that might catch your attention. You might ask what on earth is this thing.

The first function: A chair and a table.

Second function: A sofa.

For more details, go find out yourself at its official website here.

† Leaf Bowl †

Wow... This is truly a perfect choice of bowl to serve your salads or fruits. Nothing much special about the bowls but it was the design that attracts me.

† Oh No!!! †

Urrggh... This is my 'first call' week... NOOOO!!! *sob sob*
Why do I hate first call so much? First of all, you need to get up early everyday, because you're the first person to come to the pharmacy department to unlock all the doors for your colleagues and boses. Secondly, you need to stay at the outpatient department to dispense from 7:30am till 8:00am... Arghh!

The thing that I hate the most about first call is that you have to stay at home after 11pm to standby, getting ready to receive calls from doctors. And the worst of all, you might need to drive to hospital at the middle of the night to do 'therapeutic drug monitoring' (TDM). Go away TDM, I don't want you to come!!

Huhuhu... I hope everything will go smoothly during my first call week. Because I don't want to get old too fast. Of course after one week I'll be freed from this horrible nightmare.

† Scenery In Brugge †

Brugge located in Belgium, is very special. It’s about the most charming city in Europe. This city is crossed and recrossed by canals and streets that are lined with nice buildings and scenery. I won't comment much in this particular blog post because everything about this post is the great sceneries taken in Brugge.

RIVER & CANAL

Canal and river are connected in the town, making it looks a little bit like Venice.

Me and Mel at a bridge in one of the residential area and this great view of canal attracted us to take a photo here.

SACRED GARDEN

A garden with nice building and plants.

Its spring, so most leaves were still absent.

CITY SQUARE

City square of Brugge. The colorful buildings are always a good landmark for the city square.

CATHEDRAL

A cathedral in Brugge.

BICYCLE

It seems that bicycle riding is popular among the locals.
