Koh Phi Phi, pronounced "P.P", is a group of six islands. The largest island is Koh Phi Phi Don. It is the only island with permanent inhabitants and this is where we stayed during our trip to Phi Phi.
We stayed at the Viking Resort on Long Beach. I would 100% recommend staying here if you are thinking about taking a trip to Phi Phi. It is a beautiful secluded resort that has a handful of private bungalows, a private beach, restaurant and bar, and only a 10 minute walk from town. Each private bungalow is less than $50 USD a night! I loved it here and I am already dying to go back. Here are some pictures around Viking.
As I said before we were only a 10 minute walk from the main part of town from Viking. We had to practically hike through the rain forest to reach the town. Which added to the sense of being secluded. We ate most of our dinners in town. Feasting on fresh fish and delcious Thai food. Our favorite restaurant was called Papaya, next to the Rolling Stoned Bar, which served amazingly authentic cheap Thai food.

Koh Phi Phi is also known for its nightlife. It has become a playground for young and beautiful people looking to have a good time. The beaches in town are lined with beach bars that serve bucket drinks and have nightly fire shows. Our favorite beach bar and where I spent my 23rd birthday, was called Carlitos. You can also buy "make your own bucket drinks" on the street. If you are looking to party with a fun international crowd Koh Phi Phi is the place to be. 
One night we even found a bar that had a Thai Boxing (Muay Thai) ring in the middle of it. You could order your buckets and sit in stadium seating to watch the fights. We first saw a Thai fight and then we saw two over weight foreigners try to fight each other. We later learned that if you fight in the ring you get a free bucket, ridiculous. One of my favorite days of my three week vacation in Southeast Asia was in Koh Phi Phi. We spent a day on a long boat with a local Thai man who took us around the six islands that made up Koh Phi Phi. We went snorkeling and lounged on picturesque beaches, including the beach (Maya Bay) where the 2000 movie 'The Beach' was filmed. The day was truly breath taking.
Koh Phi Phi was the closest I have ever been to paradise. I loved the time I spent there and I am looking forward to exploring more islands like it around the world.
