I want to be a singing sensation!

Ok, sebelum apa-apa, saya mau mintak maap sebab tak jadi mau wrap up “Third Sem of BLS”, bukan tak jadi, but not now. The reason is for the very hundredth time, my lappy masuk virus and as all the pictures relating to the post are in that lappy. (‘=_=)

Ok, back to the topic. I want to be a singing sensationnn!! It’s a dream that would never come true as Fatin Shafira cannot sing , at all. Suara saya lebih kurang macam suara katak-katak memanggil hujan so you can imagine how I sound like everytime I open up my mouth and try to sing. Horrifying, gruesome, dreadful moment ever! Ok, I know I can’t sing and daku redha.*Huk3* Enough about me, my post today is actually about a very talented young super singing sensation, Charice Pempengco.

Siapa dia?

She is famously known from her debut single- Pyramid. Tapi masa tu aku tak amik port lagi siapa minah ni. Another young talent yang bertimbun kat Hollywood la kut. Tapi masa tengah boring-boring during study week (sempat lagi boring tu), saje je bukak youtube nak hilangkan ketensionan study. Tiba-tiba terbukak satu video Charice ngah melalak-lalak lagu “I have nothing + I will always love you”. My jaw was dropped and semua bulu-bulu kat badan ni berdiri. “Wowwww! This girl can really sing!!” What amazed me more is that she was only 16 masa ngah nyanyi-nyanyi tu! (Ok, click <here> kalau nak tengok)

So bila dah sangat kagum ngan minah ni, mula la nak search video lain ( mula la slow-slow tutup notes and books*haha*). Sumpah best gila minah ni nyanyi dan dia tidak teragak-agak nak bawak lagu Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. And she can hit the highest note real well. Takde semput-semput ok. *Haha* Pastu, teringin plak nak tahu asal-usul minah ni. (Ok, notes dan buku teros tutup!)

She was raised by her single mother in a small part of the Philippines. Hidup diorang sangat susah wooo. Charice sara hidup family diorang by singing. She started to sing at the age of 4. At the age of 7, she entered various singing competitions. One of ‘em is this one show kat Philipines ni, Little Big Star. Kalau kat M’sia ni ala-ala bintang kecil gitu. Tapi malangnya Charice kalah. (Oh No!!)

Dipendekkan cerita, Charice’s supporters posted a series of her performance videos on YouTube and these videos received over 13 million hit!! Pastu mula la ramai yang kenal Charice thru YouTube. The turning point was when she was invited to guest on Ellen DeGeneres Show. First time tu pergi US. Since that day, she received lots of invitations, yang paling best masa Charice was invited by Oprah Winfrey, Seperti daku (Cuma 4ribu kali over), Oprah was really amazed by this girl’s superb talent.Oprah yang banyak cable besar ni call la kawan dia, David Foster. (dia ni compuser yg sangat femes sebab dialah yang produce Celine Dion, Josh Groban and Michael Boooblay *tak reti nak eja*) Uncle David ni pun bimbing la si Charice ni.

Now, look who she is. A superstar living her dream in Hollywood and she’s only 18! She is now a star in Glee. Yeahhh! I love Glee!! What I’m trying to say is, never stop dreaming kawan-kawan. But don’t just dream, you have to work hard in order to fulfil it. Bukan senang nak jadi cam Charice, dia dari kecik lagi dah masuk various singing competitions and now the whole world know her. My point is, there’s no shortcut to happiness aite? ;) Cam study la, kalau MALAS,kalau banyak main-main dari study (Ok, terasa), cane nak dapat good result? Yeah, some people are born lucky. “Tak rajin masa sekolah pun hidup senang je!” It’s wrong to have such impression. Kita semua berbeda, rezki Allah yang tetapkan. But, there’s no harm of putting effort to fulfill our dreams kan? *wink*
